Julia in England
Julia is from Paris, the big city in France. This summer, she’s learning new words in a class in Oxford, a town in the south of England.
She likes it there. Class starts at nine in the morning and finishes at two in the afternoon. In her class, there are Julia and 14 other students, eight girls and six boys. They all come from Europe, but not from England.
Julia’s best friend, Alice, is also learning in a class, but in Manchester, which is far north in England.
After they finish learning, they want to study more in England. Julia wants to help animals, and so does her best friend. But Alice’s mum and dad are both dentists, so she’ll probably become a dentist too.
Julia and Alice are in England for six weeks. After the class, they’ll do a test.
